Brian Miller is an International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service. He works directly with Commerce’s worldwide team of experts to deliver information, logistical guidance and marketing assistance to U.S. companies interested in selling to the international marketplace.

Providing customized business solutions to help companies compete in more than 80 countries, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service offers in-depth consulting to determine the best markets for U.S. products and services, assists with export strategies, evaluates international competition, and introduces firms to new customers and distributors.

Before joining Commerce, Mr. Miller owned a small manufacturing firm for products he personally developed and patented for the mobile electronics industry, jewelry industry and the travel goods industry. Additionally, Mr. Miller spent nine years on the national horse racing circuit, including more than five years as an active jockey.

Born and raised in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Mr. Miller is an active member of the Louisville community, including the Louisville Committee On Foreign Relations and several young leadership programs. He holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Louisville and a CITP professional certification in international trade management from the International Import Export Institute.
