Currently, Director, Manufacturing
Quality, responsible for all proactive and
reactive quality systems for all North American
vehicle and powertrain plants. Additionally
he is responsible for manufacturing quality
planning of all future product launches.
- Joined DaimlerChrysler in 2001
as Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Quality, responsible
for developing and implementing a common Black
Belt program across all manufacturing plants.
- Prior to joining DCX he was
with GM for 16 years. He started in 1985 at
GM Tech Center as lead process engineer with
responsibility for design and debug of GM's
first flexible connecting rod line with numerous
new technologies.
- After his Ph.D he became Manager
of Math-based Group with responsibility to
develop and implement advanced statistical
methods ranging from tolerance allocation
to problem solving for body shop.
- His last
assignment was to design and help implement
world-class Quality System for GM North America's
first lean manufacturing plant.
